OUR STORY
Nicky Copeman (Chaplin) & Vanessa Reeves started The Property Service in February 1991 offering a comprehensive range of residential property services including The Search Service, The Renovation Service and The Management Service. It was a natural progression, therefore, for The Property Service to expand in 2017 joining with Marina Collett to start The Furniture Service.
The Furniture Service entails dressing a property with our own carefully chosen furniture, for the sale or rental market, making sure it is shown to its full potential for viewings and all marketing material needed, especially the websites. Our background in interior design and property sales gives us the expertise and knowledge in how best to present a property to achieve the highest possible price in the quickest possible time.
The Renovation Service involves us project managing both the building works and the interior design of properties in London, the country or abroad. Our portfolio includes decoration work, basement dig outs, side returns, extensions and loft conversions.
The Management Service allows the client peace of mind knowing that we will liaise with the rental agent to let the property and then take over the management thereafter.
The Search Service is for clients looking to buy a property in London but who do not have the time to search for themselves and would like the advice and knowledge of an expert who is acting on their behalf, not the seller’s.
Often we combine our various services, especially The Renovation Service with The Furniture Service, so that a client only has to go to one company for a Complete Service.

VANESSA REEVES
Vanessa worked as an estate agent and a project manager for a large development company before setting up her own property search and interior design company. In 1991 she started The Property Service with Nicky and now has over 35 years of experience in the industry.
NICKY CHAPLIN (COPEMAN)
Having had a Financial background, Nicky went on to study interior design. With a passion for property, she progressed into the rental market, where she set up two separate letting departments for well-known agencies before joining Vanessa to set up The Property Service.
MARINA COLLETT
Marina started her career in property sales in 1988 with Hamptons, including a brief period in the rental market. She moved to John D Wood & Co. in 1995, working in four central London offices over a twenty year period, latterly as an Associate Director.
